Model introduction
CW200ZC/XCW200ZC series marine diesel engines are manufactured according to the technology of German MAN company.
Power coverage: 330kW-1200kw.
Speed: 720r/min~1000r/min.



This model adheres to the technical characteristics of German MAN—low noise, low vibration, low fuel consumption, and high reliability. It has the advantages of reasonable model structure, advanced performance indicators, reliable operation, and easy operation and maintenance.
Emissions meet the requirements of the IMO MAPRPOL 72/78 Convention.
This series of products has been type approved by China Classification Society and China Fisheries Inspection and Quarantine Administration.
Passed ISO9001:2000 system certification.
Widely used in passenger ships, fishing boats, small and medium-sized transport ships, ro-ro ships and other ship propulsion main engines, large ship auxiliary engines.

Model identification
The diesel engine model consists of four parts. The first part consists of the new model code and enterprise code, and the middle part consists of the number of cylinders, cylinder arrangement, stroke symbol, and cylinder diameter. The rear is composed of structural and functional features, and the tail is the variant code and the rotation direction code.
A short horizontal line may be added between the rear and the tail.

Structural advantage

★Body - Rectangular box structure, with small deformation (thus the cylinder liner wear less), high strength. The intake pipe is built into the body, and maintenance is less.

★Crankshaft - The forged steel crankshaft has a continuous fiber structure, and its fatigue resistance, bending stiffness and torsional stiffness are better than those of cast iron crankshafts. The surface is treated with gas soft nitriding, which greatly improves the wear resistance and has high reliability.
Each crankshaft of the crankshaft is equipped with a fast balance, so that the quality is well balanced.
The free end is also equipped with a barrel spring shock absorber.
The first-order and second-order residual inertia moment of the diesel engine is zero.

★Cylinder head - The cylinder head and rocker cover are designed as a whole, with simple structure and convenient maintenance.

★Structural design without tappet - the rocker arms of intake and exhaust valves are directly driven by the camshaft, reducing moving parts.

★Cylinder liner——The cylinder liner is made of high wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials, with a service life of more than 60,000 hours, good deformation resistance and wear rate
Low, forced cooling, to form good lubrication conditions to prevent low temperature corrosion.

★Piston——The cross section of the piston skirt is oval in cold state, the longitudinal section of the shaft is in the shape of a waist drum (the middle convex becomes an oval piston), and it is circular in the hot state.
This structure has small gap between piston and cylinder liner, good guiding effect, easy to protect oil film, good lubrication, small mechanical wear, high mechanical efficiency of diesel engine and low fuel consumption.

★Connecting rod - Made of high-quality steel die forging, the connecting rod big end bearing is divided along the horizontal direction and fastened with four bolts, so that the joint surface is fully utilized and the bearing capacity of the big end bearing is improved.

Performance advantage
★Good reliability - the crankshaft and connecting rod are made of high-quality steel die forging, and the various transmission gears of the camshaft are made of alloy steel, so as to ensure that the diesel engine will not have problems such as broken shaft and broken connecting rod during use. The supporting structure has good rigidity, uniform heating and small wear. It has passed the 800-hour durability test and the overhaul period exceeds 30,000 hours.

★Easy maintenance
The overhead camshaft has no tappet and ejector parts, which reduces the occurrence of failures.
The shock absorber is a barrel spring, which does not require maintenance during the use of the diesel engine.

★Low fuel consumption - the minimum fuel consumption rate of CW200 series diesel engine is 195~200g/kW.h at the operating point of 80~90% of the rated power, which is the long-term operation point of the ship;
The oil consumption is 1.0g/kW.h, and the oil consumption performance curve is flat, and it has good economy under common working conditions.

★Two-stage intercooler - The use of two-stage intercooler greatly reduces the intake and exhaust temperature, increases the intake air volume, makes the combustion fully, and the emission reaches the IMO standard of the International Maritime Organization, and is approved by CCS, due to the low intake air temperature , thereby reducing the thermal load of the diesel engine and improving the reliability.

★Low emission - due to the use of pulse supercharging and deep intercooling of secondary intake air, the smoke level of the diesel engine is relatively light during the entire working process, which is lower than the Euro II emission standard, and the exhaust smoke level is ≤2.5RB ( Bosch), the measured value is 0.55RB.
